Landing RV Park DESCRIPTION: Austin's Landing RV Park is a family-owned business We take pride in a clean park where families can come stay and enjoy lots of fun We are one block from the pedestrian beach and two blocks from the jetty park. Area attractions include the U.S. Coast Guard Station in Freeport, NASA, wildlife refuges, Galveston Island, and Sea Center, Texas. There is lots of area shopping (Target, super Wal Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, a shopping mall and Kohls) and restaurants. AMENITIES: Owners Live On Site, Recreation Room With Satellite TV, 1800 Sq Ft Deck (to watch the ships coming and going), Restrooms and Showers, Laundry, Gravel Sites, Pets On Leash Welcome, Tenting. DIRECTIONS: Take Highway 332 out of Lake Jackson, cross over the Surfside Bridge, and turn right at the light for 12 blocks down Ft. Velasco. Turn left on Thunder road. RENTAL UNITS: None MONTHLY/LONG TERM SITES: Yes Recreation USA Members pay $10.00 and may stay one night each visit, and receive a 15% discount after the first night. Rates are for 4 people, with an additional charge of $2.00 for each guest over 4, and $2.00 additional charge for 50 amp. Discount is not valid for holiday weekends. |
