60 Ft DESCRIPTION: Buena Vista is a quiet, picturesque little RV Park located 25 miles east of Austin and three miles from Elgin Keeping with a small town atmosphere, Elgin has plenty of stores (grocery, clothing, movie rentals, etc), to meet your basic needs.There's a Depot Museum, public pool, library, churches, and lots of good eats! Elgin is famous for it's hot sausage, and there is a festival every time you turn around. Austin has major shopping and attractions. And, not only is it the state capitol, but it is known as the music capitol of Texas. AMENITIES: Broadband Internet, A stone lined pond, with a fish fountain, beautiful hand made gazebo for get togethers, a rock garden, playground, gravel sites, pets welcome. Completion of Shower/Laundry Facilities is scheduled for Sept/Oct of 2007. After completion, tenting will be available. DIRECTIONS: From Austin or Giddings, take IH 290 to Elgin, then south on Hwy 95 (toward Bastrop) for 1/4 mile.Go right on Old Sayers Road (go over the RR tracks). Follow the black and yellow arrow road signs around to the park. The park is 2.8 miles on Old Sayers Road, and the first entry on the right after Beaver Road. RENTAL UNITS: None MONTHLY/LONG TERM SITES: Yes Recreation USA Members pay $10.00 a night and may stay up to a month each visit. $2.00 add'l charge for each guest over two and $2.00 add'l charge for 50 amp. |
