DESCRIPTION: Kenshire Kampsite is located 5 miles West of Galeton, in North Central Pennsylvania, on US 6. Area attractions include the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon and the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum. Within 5 miles of the park is mini-golf, restaurants, grocery shopping and a hardware store.

AMENITIES: Stream, Freshwater Fishing, Tubing, Combination Game Room/Store (with T Shirts, Ice, Camping Supplies, Firewood, and Refreshments), Public Phone, Restrooms and Showers, Dump Station, Dirt Roads and Grassy Sites (Some Shaded), Recreation Field, Playground, Volleyball, Basketball, Horseshoes, Fishing, Hunting, Tenting Available, Pets Welcome.

DIRECTIONS: 5 miles East of Galeton and 18 miles West of Wellsboro, on US 6...1/2 mile West of Jct US 6 and SR-349.

Recreation USA Members will pay $11.50 a night for W/E sites, and my stay Sunday thru Thursday. Not valid holiday weekends. $3.00 add'l for Cable TV, $4.00 for air conditioning/electric heat. Rates are for 2 adults and children under 18. $4.00 for each adult over 18. .No credit cards.
