DESCRIPTION:  Take long walks in the woods, drift about on the pond, catch your own dinner, get back to nature, or just take some time to relax at Whispering Pines Camping Estates....catering to the family camper.   Area attractions include Ricketts Glen State Park and Lake Jean, with groceries, gas and restaurants within 15 minutes.  Wal Mart, Bloomsburg Fair, a mall and drive in theater are within 25 minutes, with Knoebels Amusement Park and Little League Museum 45 minutes from the park.

AMENITIES:   2 1/2 Acre Lake, Boat Rental, Fishing (Fishing Pole Rental), Pavilion, Store, Ice, Game Room, Restrooms And Showers, Laundry, Dump Station, Gravel And Grass Sites, Some Shaded, Firewood, Playground, Volley Ball, Horseshoes, Tenting, Pets Welcome. We have limited year round use, by reservation only.

DIRECTIONS: From I-80 Interstate Exit 236 and go north on Rt 487 for 16 miles then right on Rt 239, and go south for 4 miles.  Turn right on North Bendertown Road for 1 1/2 miles.

Recreation USA Members pay $10.00 a night and may stay anytime, space available, from April 15th to May 18th, and September 4th to October 15th....and Sunday thru Thursdays from May 19th thru September 3rd, space available. Discount not available on holidays
