Campground DESCRIPTION: Located in the heart of the New York state Finger Lakes Region, Cardinal Campground is 7 miles off I-86, and is a family oriented campground in a rural setting. The park is 90 miles West of Binghamton, 90 miles South of Rochester, and 90 miles North of Williamsport, PA. Area attractions include a glass museum, aviation museum, Watkins Glen Gorge, Watkins Glen Race Track, Finger Lakes dinner cruises, and many wineries. There is a cafe, propane and diesel gas 6 miles from the park. AMENITIES: Fishing Pond, Large Pool (with separated shallow end), Pavilion, Restrooms and Showers (no charge), Wheel Chair Accessible, Laundry, Dump Station (no charge, Gravel Roads, Spacious/Level Sites, Picnic Tables and Fire Rings at all sites, Horseshoe Pits, Volleyball, Playground, Hiking, Tenting, Pets Welcome. DIRECTIONS: From I-86/Rt 17, Exit #41 and go NW on CR 333 to Campbell. Go 2/10 mile, then left at the gas station, for 3.7 miles to CR 12, then right for 1.3 miles on CR 12. At the top of the hill, turn right on Dee Road for 1/2 mile to entrance, on the left. There are signs to follow. RENTAL UNITS: Cabin MONTHLY/LONG TERM SITES: Yes Recreation USA Members will pay $12.00 a night for 20 amp, with an add'l $5.00 a night for 30 amp and $6.00 a night for 50 amp. There is a minimum 2 night stay and a maximum 3 night stay (based on availability...longer if available) Call ahead for Fridays, Saturdays, holidays, and NASCAR week (the middle of August) because availability is limited. Rate is for a family of 2 adults and 2 children, and $3.00 for each add'l guest. Do not make reservations from the Cardinal Campground website because you will not get the discount. as there is . limited availability
