DESCRIPTION: Chimney Rock Pioneer Crossing is located 19 miles East of Gering, and 3 miles South of Bayard...along the historic Oregon Trail, and under the famous Chimney Rock. Area attractions include Chimney Rock National historic site, Scottsbluff National Monument, Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, and Roubidoux Pass and Trading Post. Golf, swimming, and restaurants are within 5 minutes of the park.

AMENITIES: Trophy Trout Pond, Trading Post, (Gifts, Sandwiches, Ice, Beer/Wine, Etc), Soft Water Showers, Clean Restrooms, Public Phone, Modem Hookup, Dump Station, Good, Gravel Interior Roads, Gravel and Grass Sites, Picnic Tables, Tenting, Pets Welcome.

DIRECTIONS: From Junction of Hwy 92/Hwy 26 (South of Bayard), go West 2/10 mile on Hwy 92 to CR Rd 75 (well marked), then South on CR 75 2/10 mile to entrance.

Recreation USA Members pay $10.00 a night, and have an unlimited length of stay, space available.  $2.00 add'l charge for 50 Amp electric.
