DESCRIPTION: Hear the birds, not the road, in this beautifully secluded but easily accessible campground....surrounded by the great Smoky Mountains. Fort Wilderness Campground is located just 4 miles from Harrah’s Casino, shopping restaurants, post office, and entertainment.

AMENITIES: Swimming Pool, Clubhouse, Game Room, Dance Floor, Store, Pavilion, Restrooms and Showers, Laundry, wireless internet, Public Phone, Ice, Firewood, Shady Sites, Playground, Basketball, Volleyball, Horseshoes, Bike Riding on Paved Roads, Activities and Events, Tenting, Pets Welcome. Onsite RV Repair.

DIRECTIONS: From Asheville, take I-40 West to Hwy 74, then Hwy 74 West to Cherokee. Take Exit 74, which becomes Hwy 441 and go North approximately 2 miles to Shoal Creek Road (look for the Smoky Mountain Elementary School on right, then get in left lane turn). Entrance 1/3 mile on right.

Recreation USA Members rate is for our back in sites, and will be $18.00 for 30 Amp and $19.50 for 50 Amp with an unlimited length of stay. Not valid holiday weekends and special events.
