DESCRIPTION: Fort Scott Campground is located in the Little Ozarks region of Southeast Kansas, near the Missouri border...with Branson, Joplin, and Springfield closeby. Fort Scott is a national historic landmark, with a Wal Mart and many restaurants.

AMENITIES: Pond, Freshwater Fishing, Swimming Pool, Game Room, Ice, Laundry, Restrooms and Showers, Limited RV Supplies, Dump Station, Modem Hookup, Private Phone, Horseshoes, Playground, Rec Field, Picnic Tables At Sites, Gravel/Dirt Roads, Gravel Sites (Some Shaded), Pets Welcome. The park has limited winter facilities.

DIRECTIONS: From the Junction of US-69 and US-54W, go West 1/2 mile on US-54W to Old Highway 69, then North 3/10 mile to Native Rd. The park is 2/10 mile East on Native Road, on the right side.

Recreation USA Members pay $10.00 a night and may stay one week per visit.  For over 2 guests, there is an add'l charge of $1.00 per guest up to age 17, and $2.00 add'l charge per guest over 17.  $2.00 add'l charge for 50 Amp.
