DESCRIPTION: Located near the famous Suwannee River, Old Town Campground is a quiet country park, Northwest of Gainesville, and 10 miles North of Chiefland. Area attractions include the Gulf of Mexico, Dakotah Winery, and Manatee Springs State Park, with bicycle and hiking trails, canoeing, fishing, and swimming nearby. Grocery shopping and restaurants are in Old Town, with a Wal Mart Supercenter in Chiefland.

AMENITIES: Clubhouse, Pavilion, Laundry, Restrooms and Showers, Cable TV, Public Phone, Modem Hookup, Ice, Dump Station, Large Shaded Grassy Sites, Picnic Tables, Fire Rings, Tenting, Pets Welcome.

DIRECTIONS: From the Junction of 19/98, US-27A and CR 349, go South 2 miles on CR 349. Entrance is on the left.
