DESCRIPTION: Located just North of Mobile, Chickasabogue Park has both the charm of a primitive, remote forest and the convenience of a modern accessible recreation area....more than a thousand acres of proud, lush bottom land, southern pines, moss draped oaks, stately magnolias, and a cool and clear creek. A Shoney’s Restaurant is located at the I-65 Exit, four miles from the Park.

AMENITIES: Security, Chickasabogue River, Freshwater Fishing, Dock, Boating, Ramp, Rental Canoes, Tackle, Swimming, Restrooms and Showers, Laundry, City Water, Public Phone, Dump Station, Firewood, 22 Acre Sports Field, Playground, 9 miles of Hiking and Bike Trails, 18 Hole Championship Disc (Frisbee) Golf, Basketball, Volleyball, Horseshoes, Tenting Available.

DIRECTIONS: From Jct I-65 and Hwy 158 (Exit 13), and go West 300 feet on Hwy 158 to Hwy 213, then South 2 1/2 miles to Whistler. Go East 1 mile to Aldock Road, then North l mile. Follow signs to entrance.

Recreation USA Members pay $10.00 a night and may stay for up to 3 nights per visit.
